Basic Motor Scooter Safety Most states require riders of flexi and RideGreenUS scooters to have a valid drivers license, and over 16 years of age. All motor traffic laws must be obeyed and followed as in an automobile or a motorcycle. Proper eye protection and helmets are always recommended and in most states required.
Never operate a scooter under the influence of alcohol or prescription drugs that discourage the use of operating machinery or driving a motorized vehicle of any type. You can be issued a DUI while driving a scooter. Safety is always your first consideration. Be aware and drive defensively. |
